This is my first flight to Europe during Covid-19 and it didn’t start off too well. I was quite disappointed with the Delta Airlines staff on the ground at JFK Airport in New York City. Talk about extremely unhelpful! Watch the video to see what happened, and let me know about your travel experiences across the pond.
I am back with another flying video! This time I am documenting my return trip from Atlanta to New York City, and for the first time in a very long time I am flying JetBlue. I have to say, it was quite an experience. Some things were not expected, and others were a pleasant surprise. Check out the video, and let me know your thoughts.
Hello!!! I know its been forever since I’ve updated my site, but I am vowing to do better starting now. We all know 2020 was a crazy year, so this blog really fell to the back burner. I have been active on other instagram, twitter, and newly Tik Tok, so be sure to follow me on those socials if you want to see whats going on with me in real time.
I’ve flown this travel route many times over the last year and a half. Mainly because I have family in Atlanta, so it gives me a great excuse to visit the city often. This time I’m flying down with the kiddies, so the experience is a little different. Check out our travel experience, and please subscribe to my YouTube channel. I am getting so close to 1000 subscribers!
After my first domestic flight during Covid-19, I was wondering if the international flying experience would be the same. On August 2, 2020 I boarded a flight at New York City’s, JFK International Airport (JFK) to Charlotte, NC, (CLT) connecting to Cancun Mexico (CUN) on American Airlines. I will say that, my domestic travel experience on Delta Airlines was much better, BUT American was not that bad, but they clearly have room for improvement.
I booked this flight 2 weeks out from traveling, and initially booked a direct flight to Cancun, Mexico. American Airlines cancelled all of their direct flights from JFK to Cancun, and by the time I was notified it was too late to switch airlines because pricing had increased drastically. Needless to say, I was not happy about this change and American Airlines already started off on the wrong foot. Check out how my flight went, my coronavirus travel tips, and let me know if you have traveled internationally during Covid-19, or have had any experiences with travel during coronavirus.
I have been wondering for months what it would be like to finally fly during coronavirus. I boarded a flight on July 13, 2020 from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport to JFK International Airport in New York City. I flew Delta Airlines, and felt pretty safe while flying. Boarding was from the rear of the plane to the front, Purell hand wipes were handed out when boarding, a snack bag was given out mid-flight; and it also included another Purell wipe.
Overall I felt very safe flying Delta airlines. It was a little scary to board a plane again, but the staff made it an enjoyable and safe flight. Check out the full video to see how my entire airport ad flight experience turned out.
In October I ran the Detroit Free Press Int’l half marathon. Check out my race recap HERE. Of course I chronicled the whole weekend, but never got around to editing the footage…silly me! So take a look at all that I did that weekend including:
✅Visiting the iconic #MotownMuseum (they don’t let you take pics or video inside, except for the studio room. Kinda puts a downer on the experience) ✅Bell Isle Aquarium – cute little Aquarium, free entry & free parking, add it to your list. ✅Anna Scrupps Whitcomb Conservatory – next door to the aquarium, it’s beautiful and worth a visit. ✅Joe Louis Monument – A ginormous fist in the middle of a busy road, a must visit IG photo op. ✅Eastern Market – lots of beautiful art, good music, and great food. Don’t forget to visit the Detroit vs. Everybody store!
