Week 3: Running 100 miles in June

Week 3 of my 100 miles of June challenge is wrapped, and I actually stayed on task this week and did 5 runs!! That’s a gold medal world record for me because I don’t know when the last time was that I ran 5 days in one week. Anywho, this challenge has really gotten me back into running which I think we all fall out of love with here and there. Looking forward to hitting those ?miles next week!

Week 2: Running 100 miles in June

A lot has gone on in the last 2 weeks. I had a wicked fall on June 2nd and had to take 6 days off from running to recover. So essentially week 1 of June was a complete wash. I came back for week 2 and have been taking it pretty easy. Basically doing a run/walk for every run while I continue to heal. Week 2 was actually great. I’m starting to get back in the grove, I’m back on the track which is great, and I’m just falling in love with running again. Day 1: 100 miles of June

Since Covid-19 hit us like a ton of bricks, my running totally fell off. In March I had 22.6 miles, April was a dismal 9.6 miles, in May I had a slight comeback at 39.3 miles, and for June I’m setting the bar high with a goal of 100 miles. Today is day 1 of my quest do increase my mileage, and loose a couple of pounds while I’m at it. 

So today’s stats 4.5 miles, and 158 lbs. ?
